Fishing Report,

September 23rd,

Some really big walleye have been caught here the last coupe weeks, all the way up to 30"! Most walleye have come in on willow cats. An expense bait but very effective one. Captain Hook's still has some in stock, which is unusual as the supply is generally done by late summer. Bluegills and a few northern pike are also being caught. Water is pretty low for this time of year but the last rain we had should tick that up a little.

Keep a look out for our new place to stay here in Genoa, Admiral House. It is a 6 (8 beds)bedroom house, full kitchen, dining room, living room, two baths, patio with grill, fish cleaning area and just down from Captain Hook's. More information will be coming but we are taking reservations. We also have Captain Hook's Captain's Quarters which is a cabin right next door that takes up to 4 people. We are getting lots of reservations so be sure to figure out your dates and get them in.
